Executive Administrative Assistant to the Head of School

Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for the Head of School, managing all communication and scheduling.

Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.

Coordinate logistics for school events, meetings, and committees.

Support the Head of School in strategic planning and project management.

Facilitate communication between the Head of School, staff, students, and external stakeholders.

Prepare reports, presentations, and data analysis as needed.

Manage the student information systems (SIS), databases, and other record-keeping software to access and update student records, staff information, and other important data.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with emphasis on “customer service” and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Office Suite Software: Skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar platforms like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High level of discretion and professionalism.

Experience in event planning and project management.

Skills in managing platforms for wider community engagement, such as social media or school newsletters, may also be beneficial.

A willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies as they are adopted by the school.
